Mans, you're doing a fantastic job! And every single word is the truth!

The away support at Utrech was truly fantastic. It again showed me how much fun it is to go away and really get behind the team.
We were singing our hearts out in a completely empty ground almost two hours before kick-off.
It also showed that the FCL supporters have a great sense of humor. The human vuvuzela orchestra is surely a Luzern invention. Suddenly all 700 just start making vuvuzela sounds without the plastic trumpets. Hilarious.
The emphatic ‘Viva Espana’ response to some dutch lads making gestures was also fantastic.
Nobody likes losing but this time the 1-0 result almost seemed irrelevant. We just felt incredibly proud to travel to a big European ground, many times out-singing the home fans,we also saw our team playing reasonably well against a good side. The only thing missing was the goal euphoria- a goal in Holland would have been incredible. On par with when we scored the first against Lugano at the last game in Allmend.
We were held back for almost an hour after the final whistle. First people were sitting down waiting to get out. Then after a while some genius decides its time for a sing-song. First round stands up and do a song and dance routine. Then they sit down and second does the same. This is repeated all the way up to the top of the away end. Unbelievable. All the ground staff gathers around us and applauds, the people eating prawn sandwiches in the corporate boxes leaves their Chardonnays and comes out to their balconies to have a look.
A great party that I wouldn’t have missed for anything.
Just Can’t Beat That!
PS.The dutch police were fantastic. Lots of smiles and no riot shields. Look and learn Swiss riot police.
