Edit:
Hehe, der Junge wollte noch Geld dafür
Celtic-Forum hat geschrieben:Police were today quizzing a man who claimed he was the fan who spoiled Celtic's party.
The man went to Celtic Park early this afternoon to say sorry, and was then taken to London Road police station.
The dramatic development came after a man telephoned the Evening Times to say he wanted to apologise.
But he then wasted his apology by demanding cash to give his side of the story.
The "fan" - who only identified himself as Robert - phoned the Evening Times and said he would go to Celtic Park to say sorry to Celtic head of security Ronnie Hawthorn.
We asked Robert, who is thought to live in Castlemilk, why he ran on to the pitch. He replied: "I wanted to celebrate with the fans."
But he declined to say why he went anywhere near AC Milan goalkeeper Dida.
Then he dropped his bombshell by asking: "Would I get paid for this? - before ending the call.
More than 59,000 genuine fans inside the ground, and millions on TV worldwide had seen the man, thought to be in his early 20s run on to the park when Celtic scored their last gasp winner.
He evaded police and stewards, ran on to the pitch, and brushed the neck of the goalkeeper with his left hand.
Remarkably, he made it back into the crowd without being detected.
Dida initially ran after the pitch invader but theatrically went to ground seconds later and was stretchered off holding an ice-pack to his face.
Before this afternoon's dramatic developments, last night's match commander, Superintendent Gillian McLeod, was studying TV pictures and CCTV footage.
Officials and police were also thought to be examining how he managed to evade trackside security, get on the playing surface then melt back into the crowd.
Celtic could be hammered by Uefa sanctions, and could possibly even be docked Champions League points over the incident.
Superintendent McLeod said: "Strathclyde Police is working very closely with Celtic Football Club. We will certainly not tolerate this type of behaviour from any spectator."
Jim Divers, of the Celtic Supporters Association, said: "This fan' has taken the gloss off one of Celtic's finest hours. These things can't be allowed to happen. There is always one idiot who spoils the party.
"The one consolation is that the comments coming out from AC Milan have been very gracious and sporting."
A spokesman for Celtic said that the club would carry out its own investigation into the incident.
